It's Kerfuffle time! Hello Entrafishians! It's taken me ages, but thanks to some kicking in the ass by Jeff Calder, I have finally gotten around to preparing the Kerfuffle MP3s... the quality is not so hot, but remember this was never actually released, it's just a sample of more Entrafis that you may have only ever heard at the gigs (if you were around in those days!) I also got an un-named 2 song demo that I think is post? Jake era... once I have more info about it, I'll put it online as well.
without further ado:

Kerfuffle In The Koop 1992 Demo Well Jake finally has a copy of Kerfuffle In The Koop (1992) on his pc, although he says he wants to eventually remix a decent stereo version... I currently have 2 of the tracks, for the curious ones out there here is the complete song list: The production is not great like Jake mentioned in the interview, but it's a bit better than the Granville St. (which was live except for the vocals...)

INTO OUT 1994 Demo Here as promised is my recording of the Into Out demo. Again, the quality probably isn't great, but I had to dub it from a very worn copy with an old walkman... anyways here the links to download the tracks: Credits are:

Mark Taylor - Guitar(Left)*
Sheg Itome - Bass
Sean Verabioff - Drums
* On the sleeve it says the reverse, but on the lyric sheet enclosed this is corrected.

Into Out Demo Ok so I got an email the other day about the Into Out mirror that I promised... Sorry for being lazy/occupied etc. Firstly I never got a chance to download the mp3s off Quinn's site, or if I did, I lost them and I don't actually own a tape deck so it makes it rather hard to re-record the tracks for the site. However today I've discovered an old walkman and that seemed to work ok. I'll record and split the tracks and have them online soon.

As a side note, Jake mentioned he might be able to provide a (pre?)production copy of Kerfuffle for us hardcore fans to taste... mmmm unheard Entrafis yummyness!

Interview with Jake I got in touch with Jake via myspace and we're in the process of doing a mini interview by email, as soon as I get it back I'll post it here. It has a bunch of historical questions for those of you who want to know a bit more about the band and what happened.

Also, it's come to my attention that Quinn's Entrafis site only has 2/4 mp3's working (when you don't get the geoshities "bandwidth exceeded" message... therefore, I'll probably mirror most of the content from that site here sometime soon. I can't find out where I had them stored, but I can always re-record them from my copy of the demo.

Self Titled 1991 Demo I've finished dubbing the demo to PC, the quality isn't great, but it was recorded with a couple mics in the rehearsal space to begin with, plus the age of the tape, and the fact that it's been played about a million times... anyways here are some links to download the tracks:

What this site will contain I will be adding the mp3s for the self titled demo that was recorded in the Granville St. rehearsal space in September 1991 as soon as I get the tracks split up and saved as mp3s. I have to plug my scanner back in before I can add the sleeve, and I plan to dig out some photos I have, which I'll add as soon as I get them scanned in... I think Jake stole all the good ones from me, so what I have left isn't great, and I don't have a way to scan in the negatives (if they have survived all these years!)

Welcome to this fansite I have created this little site to share some of the info I have gathered about the Halifax Nova Scotia Canada metal band by the name of Entrafis. Details are scarce, and if anyone spots any wrong info, please let me know so that I can correct it. Entrafis existed in the early 90s and shared a varied scene in Halifax. I still quote them as one of my favorite bands of the time, they were the hometown heros to me. There is another fansite on Geocities with "Into Out" info and mp3s so I'll leave that off for now. You can check it out here: Quinn's Entrafis Fansite

Note to Entrafis:
If any member of Entrafis objects to the existance of this website, or has any material to add or correct, please let me know, I will rectify the situation immediately. Just email me and I'll sort it out. As with Quinn's site, it's obvious I am making no monetary gain with this website, and have only created it to share with the world something I appreciate which is either no longer available or nearly impossible to find.
